CC winners. Who actually deserved it? Who should have won it?

2010 - Jeremy Smith

Benji Marshall was actually pretty average in the 05 GF, apart from the pat Richards try he didn't do anything. Ben galea should have got it ahead of Scott prince IMO

How Darius Boyd won the award ahead of Jeremy Smith is beyond me.

I think some the recipients in the past 20 or so years were shocked to receive the award.

Sterling admits Paul Taylor shouldve deserved it, and Cliff Lyons reckons Kevin Ward was best on ground.

I think 2003, Luke Priddis was probably the most deserving.

IMO Priddis in '03 as the best performance I've seen in a Grand Final.

Haha nah. I've got this Grand Final highlights DVD and I always press skip when it gets to 91.

Funnily enough, I can handle watching the 87 GF. But I think that's because it was our first and we weren't expected to win.

Pretty sure Maloney did SFA in the 2012 grand final. He might have had a few beers at a mate's place but that hardly makes him eligable for a CCM.

2009 should have gone to Cooper Cronk hands down. Slater was only chosen cos he was the big name that whole year. Billy even said in his speech Cronk should have gotten it.

2013 I thought DCE was great but Maloney would have been an appropriate choice.

Lockyer was good, Webcke was outstanding, Hodges played well but yeah the job Berrigan did on Inglis that night was special. What a finals series he had.
