So if NSB get rejected and there are no other Bids for the Titans does the Nrl then try and sell the License altogether?
I'd imagine so.
The NRL have to supply TV with 8 games every full round, and if they can't sell the Titans "as is, where is", then they HAVE to drop some (all?) of those pre-conditions.
If it gets to that scenario, obviously it'll become one huge bidding war - Perth, the Bears, and any number of Brisbane & possibly New Zealand organisations will be clamoring the license. Kinda like what happens with bidding to host the Olympics.
It's obscene that a huge strategic decision could come down to whoever has the biggest pockets.
