Adding more than one team at a time is a bad idea.

We need to keep the NRL competitive and give the new team every possible chance of success.

Teams should be entered into the NRL staggered over 3-5 year periods.

Why?

It's been done in RL since Hitler topped himself. And it's pretty much done the trick every time(47,67,82,88)...Until Rupert came along that is.

There isn't a bid anymore. Norths pulled their money, Singo ran away and the Bears are a reserve grade team to News Ltd's Melbourne Storm.

There is no confirmation there will be a teamso we dont have a bid at the moment.
Bears dont survive cos of Storm, they help us out of players but we survive more because of the hard work put in by Florimo and a few others.

The crowd argument about the CC having a team then not showing up is irrelevant cos firstly that wasnt a team, that was just Manly, and also the GC had 2 or 3 bloody teams and no one turned up for them either, meaning they also have had there chance in your view.
Both teams should be admitted but the Central Coast is ready to go and should be the next team in.

Any bid realisitically wanting to be part of the NRL wouldn't put their bid on the back burner, you keep trying, keep flying your colours and campaigning. Norths Leagues and Singo pulled their support. Gold Coast kept fighting and it scored them a lot of points with the NRL.

Fact is there is no Central Coast bid. Only a handful of Bears fans kicking up dust on an internet message board.

I don't give a shit about the Bears. All I care about is the health and future of the greatest game especially in the code's 2nd largest stronghold, which is currently pathetically under represented. And ripe for conquest by rival codes.

If the situation was reversed and I had to abandon my club's NRL ambitions for the time being for the sake of saving an under represented NSW from invasion. I'd do it in an instant.

How would NSW get on only being represented by Newcastle and the Roosters? While QLD had 10 teams wanting 11...

This game has a long history. It was built on its traditions. As soon as the game spits on its traditions, it strats to self-destruct. The Bears were the only team that put up a fight for its surival before the criteria. we were defrauded - put into administration wrongly andlied to by the NRL.

We are fighting to regain our position in the NRL - but you see fit to put the knife into an establsihment club then call yourself a league fan. :lol:
