So is Sifa a centre, a second rower or a middle. Fitz suggested in the presser that he was not sure.
On Friday nights performance I would leave him there at 4 ( he covered the best centre in the game quite well, although Gagging did get a few back on him )and slot CT to the 14 as he can cover many many positions, has great energy and wuns wheely fast.
Whereas Sifa just eats merkins whole.

Feel free to flame, add on, pile on or insert PowerPoints, and yeah Trindall.

me new fav player …

Did you see Trindalls miss tackle in the dying minutes? He came on made one run and missed a tackle, I just don't see the value in keeoping him on the bench for 10 minutes or less. Put Tracey in the 14 jumper and keep Sifa in the backs for a little while why we can. Surely he cant lose his position on performance alone.

He and Ronnie are a good combination out there too, which is just as important imo.
That what I took a lot out of the game. Sifa and Ronnie combined a great deal better than Tracey and Ron.
A few years ago when Sifa played centre a lot of people loved it, but not I. His defence was shocking, it has now picked up immeasurably, like a lot of the team.
I now want him to be in the centre position as well.

We have some pretty good middles and second rowers. As you point out he mightnt run as fast ,Id add he mightnt jump wheely high but NO ONE easily pushes him out the road contesting the bombs put up for him. Doing just fine at centre for mine.

Mate even the Ramien/Katoa combination has improved out of sight. It's so good to know we have genuine threats right across the park.

supposedly he was a centre at Souths

Yes, scored with his first touch in his debut. He was also a Junior Kiwi as centre off the bench in 2016, scored in this one as well. Went to Penwith from Souths who didn't give him the time of day. Then off to Newtown.

He was also a garbo they say.

So what about the elephant in the room?

Goalkicking.

Is Nicho getting better or are we happy with 61% (75% career)?

Nicho needs to get on park whenever theres a wind to work it out.

Who's the backup goalkicker? Like if Nicho goes off and Tricky isn't on the bench.

What are you gunning at here, Chief?
It's a Sifa thread and he did offer to take that last kick against Parra...

Talakai is a wrecking ball.

The Newcastle outside backs didn’t know how to handle him. It was very funny to watch.

I’m definitely on the keep Sifa at Centre bandwagon.

Tracey when fit can go to the bench as a utility. For me Trindall either starts or plays for Newtown. Tracey has more utility value.

When you have Sifa one on one with a defender out wide he’s going to draw the winger in as well at times like the last try on the weekend and set Ronnie off to the try line.

Want to see Sifa cut back inside at times too. Almost got a try from doing that last week when we got pinged for the bullshyte tackle interference call. And then in the second half he almost scored again doing it.

He’s a good human too and not a lot of rubbish in his game. Lots of Man love for him!
