Talakai is a wrecking ball.

The Newcastle outside backs didn’t know how to handle him. It was very funny to watch.

I’m definitely on the keep Sifa at Centre bandwagon.

Tracey when fit can go to the bench as a utility. For me Trindall either starts or plays for Newtown. Tracey has more utility value.

When you have Sifa one on one with a defender out wide he’s going to draw the winger in as well at times like the last try on the weekend and set Ronnie off to the try line.

Want to see Sifa cut back inside at times too. Almost got a try from doing that last week when we got pinged for the bullshyte tackle interference call. And then in the second half he almost scored again doing it.

He’s a good human too and not a lot of rubbish in his game. Lots of Man love for him!

Not really. They have different utility value

Tracey, anywhere in the backs

Trindall, halves, backrow, hooker, goalkicker

I don't think everyone will get the Sifa at centre wish long term. Tracey trained all off season in the centres and Fitzshark sees him as a centre.

When fit he'll slot back in straight away

Yes, scored with his first touch in his debut. He was also a Junior Kiwi as centre off the bench in 2016, scored in this one as well. Went to Penwith from Souths who didn't give him the time of day. Then off to Newtown.

He was also a garbo they say.

That what I took a lot out of the game. Sifa and Ronnie combined a great deal better than Tracey and Ron.
A few years ago when Sifa played centre a lot of people loved it, but not I. His defence was shocking, it has now picked up immeasurably, like a lot of the team.
I now want him to be in the centre position as well.
Sifa defended well as the system around him was much stronger than it has been in the past. Gagai beat him on the outside a few times and that will happen as he won't be as quick laterally as many of the players he defends. However, his power running is so damaging that he can tear teams up.

It's hard to know how long Tracey will be out for, so Sifa may get a good run to see how he goes in the centre spot. He will come up against sterner tests.

Beg to differ.

Tracey , Wing, Centre, 5/8, half, hooker.

Trindall, halves and hooker.

He is horrible in the back row.

Nicho has had bad luck with the weather in regards to his goal kicking. He’ll be fine.

I think Trindall is suffering from a lack of minutes.
played the trial. Missed 2 weeks and then played at the end when games were over.

20 minutes In 4 weeks
Yeah Tricky needs some game time in the Jets... Get him match fit for when Moyza inevitably does a hammy or a calf. (Not saying I want this to happen but as sure as day follows night Unfortunately)

Sifa has been a wrecking ball this last couple of weeks... Needs to stay at centre until he accidentally takes someone's head off and cops a few weeks.

And Tracey hasn't played hooker. Horrible doesn't rule BT out either.

Not trying to fight with ya just pointing out that it's apples and oranges

Think is was Inferno that pointed out we haven't run out with the same 17 yet. Doubt we will for more than ahandful of games either

That might create encumbency and we all love that right?

So what about the elephant in the room?

Goalkicking.

Is Nicho getting better or are we happy with 61% (75% career)?

Nicho needs to get on park whenever theres a wind to work it out.

Who's the backup goalkicker? Like if Nicho goes off and Tricky isn't on the bench.
They were saying last year that Brailey can kick goals.
Katoa is another

I don’t mind using a few different players throughout the year to try and find the right mix.

As long it’s not too many, as history shows generally teams that use too many either had an injury crisis or form crisis.

Just loving the overall vibe at the Club right now.

A fit McInnes and Talakai or Wilton or both on the bench nearly eliminates the need for a utility on the bench.

Braily would have no trouble slotting into the half’s in an emergency with McInnes to hooker. Talakai & Wilton cover edges.

4 forward bench helps manages their workload throughout the season.

I hope Talakai is still playing left centre when we face Manly so he can smash that smug prick Harper , for some reason i have a serious dislike of the guy .
Talakai is more chance of still being a centre by that point than Harper. He has sucked this season
