Honestly, if you can earn a spot in firstgrade, he has earnt it by now.

Williams in for another double too.

Tries: K Naiqama 3, S Williams 2, A Pewhairangi 2, S McDonnell, B Simpson
Conversions: G Ndaira 7

We have won 4 games this season.

In the 1st win Kev scored 2 tries
In the 2nd win Kev scored 3 tries
In the 3rd win Kev scored 3 tries
In the 4th win Kev scored 3 tries

He has 12 tries in about 10 or 11 games this year. In the first few he was outside Fruen, but since then he has been partnered with Simon Williams, who puts him through gaps all the time, and no one runs him down.

Williams didn't score for the fist 4 games, but has scored 10 tries since.

I see Api scored twice, but that can be misleading .How did he go?He's seems a good kid,he was easily a class above playing with Souths 18' a few weeks ago.

Don't know how he went, but we now have Api, Will Smith, Tyler Sullivan, Aloi Taufaao who can all play in the halves for another 2 years in NYC, and Tyrone Roberts is also able to play next year - that's 5 outstanding kids fighting for 2 spots.

If nothing the bloke is fast, Toyota cup last year round 1 Vs the titans, he ran down Jordan Rankin who had about a 10m headstart and was about halfway with no one in front of him, Kevin ran him down about 5m before the line, then a few moments later Kevin Gordon (the same Kevin Gordon who's being touted as the fastest man in rugby league) put a nice in and away on Kev, pretty much got around him and Kev managed to mow him down aswell and put him into touch

Easily the strongest side of the year if they all front up.
The bench is still a bit weak - Shearer needs to be on the bench proper.

Plenty of FG experience there

it's actually starting to look like a genuine reserve grade side... just need a few old rough head bastards in there to teach the kids a few things.

The most interesting selection is Miller starting and Tovo to the bench. I'm a huge Miller fan and have pretty well always rated him a better prospect than Tovo, but it's fair to say Tovo had an off season training with firstgrade and Miller had virtually no pre season, so Tovo was ahead for a time, but i reckon Miller > Tovo is right now.

Api has been promoted to NYC after some quality games for the Centurions, which gives Wyborn a chance in his favourite position. Dureau and Wyborn should really compliment each others game.

Tovo has been injured mate.

Only his second game back.
Don't care.
I think Miller had him covered before injury, and Miller has been getting better and better - or back to the form he had for CC Storm last year is more correct.

I guess the question is then - were Tovo and Miller swapped before they ran onto the field last weekend? That would answer a few things.

We will have to just disagree on that one roop.

I have not seen Miller in action before his injury so he may have never reached his potential.

But there is a reason he will not get a look in at NRL here at the Knights and was let go elsewhere.

The only thing keeping Tovo out of a few starts this year has been the impressive form of Edwards.
