Watson needs to bat in the middle order till he can learn to play the straight ball.

Pity he has a great ODI record. If fit, he is one of the openers with Shane Watson the other one.

Shame his domestic record is rubbish. I've watched him down at the WACA for many a year now and he just seems to invent ways to get out sometimes. I'll take Tim Payne and Shane Watson

NSW will have a huge advantage if they play Cape Cobras in Delhi.

Delhi is by far the worst pitch and NSW have played there twice, while the Cobras have been playing on the good pitches in Bangalore and Hyderabad.

lol @ Indian Premier League teams.

Premier obviously means cashed up not quality.

Could not even make the semis.

Australia proves yet again what a superior domestic comp they have.

That's actually the one thing I've enjoyed from this competition; seeing our domestic teams dominating the rest

His 50 over record is more than good. 4 day record is ordinary but it was not helped by trying to be an opener last season, plus the WACA was a fast pitch last year.

Holy handstands Batman, how has noone commented on that Trinidad and Tobago got 213 against the Eagles last night!

That's ridiculous, less than ten years ago that was a good 50 over score!!!

T&T have been a breath of fresh air, they just go out and smack it around. How boring were Somerset last night??? Their only bloke that can hit a ball comes in at 8  Still think the Mighty Blues are the team to beat.

The Vics have played two half decent sides and have been beaten, wouldn't be creaming your pants over their form.

T&T definitely are going great guns but their bowling can let them down so that is a way in for teams looking to beat them.

Average of 30.39 at ODD (One Day Domestic) First Class average of 34ish

The WACA wasn't overly quick last year as the curator is still replacing the pitch square (was supposed to have finished during the winter)

Gotta agree on Marsh, he is a great talent and can make batting look easy but man he finds ways to get out. He got 70 the other day and didn't go on with it. Shame because he is good enough if he knuckles down.

Wonder what happens if the ball hits the fly cam. Would it be the same rule as if the ball hits the roof at Etihad Stadium. Where its a dead ball.

Beat 2 good sides and sent them packing in a tournament they were supposed to be making the semi finals of

Wayamba was very unlucky, if they had been in any other group they would have made the 2nd round atleast

Yes it is, happened in one of the early games
