In my whole life, I’ve never seen anyone get this excited winning the Champions Trophy. Lolz.

Ultimately we were probably poked once Henry was ruled out. At that point I would have liked to have seen us throw caution to the wind a bit and pick an extra batter. Smith was a wasted selection in those conditions. If we had our time again perhaps we take another spinner as well - tricky picking a squad to suit 2 totally different sets of conditions though I guess.

As always we do bloody well to make these finals in the first place and then just lack that final polish and killer instinct to win the whole thing.
