Surely, the club has a few rich benefactors that could have thrown some money his way in return for a cushy job??

correct me if I'm wrong, but benefactors would mean they are already a corporate partner, ie: sponsor, if so? they can't be involved in any third party agreements.

OK then - non-benefactors. ;-)

maybe we should send Vince Sorrenti out on a world wide stadium, "stand up" tour, starting at a 3 night opening slot at ANZ stadium at $350.00 a pop.
I'm thinking he'd be a good tax write off for a builder.....anyone know a builder??
ohhh - i'll feel unlovedi wont wolf whistle you no more hun .............
just back on topic for a minute. Assuming that on Tuesday its confirmed that Williams is in fact heading to the Sea Scum next season, what are your views on his role in 2008? Do we play him in the hope of him helping us win matches now or try to give someone else a go with the future in mind? More importantly do we really want to sit through headline after headline each weekend about how great a player Manly are in store for? Either way, this truly goes down as one of the great f**k ups of all time by the club.

I wonder if the decision by the team to give him players' player has anything to do with a last ditch effort to give him a change of heart? Not that he was undeserving, but Mateo was the man as far as I was concerned.
Because he is a ****wit, and will let him go just to prove he and Dennis got it right the first time. They asked Hagan about whether the Eels would be having a late change of heart regarding Tony Williams and he basically said he couldn't see how the situation changing.
