Why TAPE it! It is the same crap you would see the previous night! The best bits are on the news anyway! So again, why did you tape/watch it! You know the coverage is going to be bad, so why tape it!

I asked mum to tape it for the fireworks. I remember reading on the NYE website a few things and I thought it would be good. I made the mistake of watching the preceeding coverage and was pretty disgusting... and I didn't even see the show in between, told that was even worse. The biggest problem was that they're catering to the 16-39 demographic... that same demographic which is not in front of the TV when the clock strikes twelve. They promised to bring a fresh edge to a professional broadcast and failed at both of those... it was neither fresh nor professional. It IS a family show and if Nine don't want it back next year lets hope Seven tell Gretel where she can shove her mic.
