He should have got 3 weeks IMO, Burgees should have got 8 I think some sort of deal was made with that whole Maloney 'it was just a joke' crap, when you could see him clearly fired up on field when it happened.

Burgess and Maloney are mates off-field. Burgess came out in the paper saying when he did it he was mucking around with Jimmy but later regretted it because the media and fans didn't understand that it didn't have malice, so it looked bad. He said he needed to be careful mucking around with mate on the field because it could be taken the wrong way by outsiders which in this case it did.
By the way, Heighington also got off his 'eye gouge' from the weekend.
