This is all great to see, the positivity from fellow dragons supporters is so great to see and a long time between drinks. Well I dunno if its the 4 beers iv dropped tonight or the beginning of another year of delusion but I'm in great spirits about the year ahead.. love beating the bunnies in any game.. IMOP dickheads should of payed reyno what he is worth before he retired. Bt now its the broncs i got to look out for and i hate them more....

I will never understand why they let Reynolds go. I’d take him over Walker every day of the week.

Gee hasnt Hook got some pleasant selection headaches , esp when you consider how well the majority of the Squad has played leading into Round one against the Warriors ,
On top of that , if fit , most likely Simms . Mbye and Sullivan will be right in the mix as well ..Two bolters who are going really well , but may miss the cut are new buy Gosieswki and Jackson Ford ...Have a feeling Kerr will sneak in , but his handling and high mistake rate are still there for all to see
Perhaps he'll go with 3 forwards and one utility Mbye/Sullivan on the bench against the physical warriors 13 .
Our forward depth this year is outstanding and players wont be able to get away with inept performances and continue to be selected as in years gone by......

Caught the last 15 minutes and then saw the highlights.

We have size, and speed.

Very excited to see we scored 4 tries and only conceded 2.

George Burgess looked a happy man at the end.

He looks huge.

Buy of the year if he remains pain free.

JDB/Sua/Burgess/Woods & Co will form a strong pack.

Oh when the Saints !!!!!!!!!!!

Yep and how was his defensive efforts at the back for the knights tries he was on the field for? As always he can run fast but it's a shame for him that a fullback in league has to tackle.
behind a shit spine and shit forward pack. Dogs=Scum is a replica of of the McNoidea years ATM until Gus gets rid of the dead wood. Yeah incomprehensible brah addo - carr and talented Burton may help, but unfortunately I think Duffty jumped into the fire from the frying pan.

Very sad for St.George junior not Illawarra that loved the club. I think with better coaching he would have been on par with B Slater that took an interest in Matt Dufty until McFningNoida caught on and started putting Birdy in at fullback.

FU Mary and may you suffer and never get a first grade coaching gig for Fing up our talented juniors for such a long time for die hard St.George Dragons fans

ill tell you why... They let him go because the morons at souths thought cody walker was the one creating all there tries.. haha fu***n idiots, bennett couldent work out why they dident resign him so he made a phone call to walters telling him about a signing he should make that will solve all his problems and the rest is history.. true story

Absolutely chuffed with that win. Hopefully that soft underbelly is gone forever. Every player put in and whenever something went wrong there were no hands on hips or heads.
Was great to see. If they bring that into the season proper all the players I've had question marks over will win me over.

Walker cost the bunnies the opportunity of winning last year’s grand final with that looong cut-out pass that was intercepted which allowed the panthers the match winning try .

Reynolds is a thinking man , a little general on the field that has the ability to get his team on the attack , more so with his long up-field kicks - a great buy for the broncs .

But back to our boys - a very pleasing result tonight , especially against our old foes . There is a lot of potential there and Griffin realizes that . Merely a case of getting the best side on the field and allowing them to gel into a more formidable combination .

Well done boys ! 😇

If Suli and Lomax stay fit, our wingers will get plenty of opportunities.

great comment.

I wasn’t a big fan of signing Sullivan, but if tonight is an indication I’ll be smiling. Quality ball to the wings, from guys who threaten the line will put opposition under huge pressure

The only problem position we have IMO is in the hooking role .. it’s a little sluggish and I’m not quite sure how we are going to plug this hole.. the no. 9 is just as important as the 7 and the talent difference between our 7 and 9 is bloody massive..

Sua and Suli

Powerful and dangerous

We have balance in both the right side and left side attack.

Wingers galore in Ramsey/Rava/Moga and Fegai.

Sims and Sullivan yet to play.

The Manly forward Gosiewski also a goer.

Plenty of competition at prop and back row.

Hunt/Amone and Sloan look sensational.

Only issue for the side is Hooker.

Hopefully Connor Muhleisen is eligible to play first grade as we are one injury away from trouble.

I reckon the way to go for Hook is rotation.

At fullback, on the wings, in the pack, on the bench and even at 6.

At least in the first month or two and potentially later in the season, once he has settled on a combo and fatigue begins to have an effect.

His clever recruitment and subsequent plethora of options and depth have afforded him this luxury...

They looked like a well drilled side. A few mistakes here and there, but overall very positive. One bloke who I’m not liking is Kerr. Wish someone would teach him to just run hard and hold onto the ball

I must admit, did not see 1st half except highlights. Watched all the 2nd half. Good win and efforts by many and some great trys scored
But I am glad I heard Hook mention the 2nd half they lost their way and that some outsiders put their hand up tonight cause they did. M Molo & Jack Gos
After Benny Hunt bombed that try over the line admittedly most of our better players were off the field but we became clunky and brittle in defence except on our line.
Good hit out and some good signs.
F Molo way below what he can produce and is a concern. Get rid of McGuire from hooker :)

I loved the look of sua, a little tease of 40 minutes but god he looked dangerous in attack. Hopefully Ramsey or Sloan sniffing around there. Yes it’s just a trial but no players goes into a trial not trying to play at their best. Good signs ahead
