Oh right so George and Tom would struggle to get in the best 17 of the red V. Nice troll:lol:

Souths are more disadvantaged. Spoke to two mates who support St George and they said Souths are far more disadvantaged.

I'll remember that if Souths win in round 3 that you called us toast if the Dragons have a fit team.

Getting cocky I see.

Lol !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All that proves is that they are your mates

I'm interested to see how Damien Cook goes in that Souths side. We apparently tried pretty hard to sign (and almost landed) Cameron McInnes last year to be our hooker, yet he could lose his starting spot at Souths to a Dragons junior we had and let go without a whimper

Matthews: Chance To Impress

Fri 12th February, 07:00AM A A

St George Illawarra Dragons second-rower Will Matthews will be aiming to impress when he competes in the traditional Charity Shield fixture at ANZ Stadium, Olympic Park on Saturday.
The Kyogle Turkeys junior has been named in the back-row and will partner utility Jake Marketo due to both Tyson Frizell (back) and Joel Thompson (NRL Indigenous All-Stars) being unavailable for the annual trial.

Matthews was involved in the trial fixture against the Wynnum-Manly Seagulls over the weekend and is happy to have had the opportunity to gain valuable minutes during the encounter.
He admits he hopes to get a few more minutes as he recovers from off-season shoulder surgery and will be using the upcoming fixture as a chance to make his mark in front of the coaching staff.
“It was a good first hit out against the Seagulls and even though we won it still proved to be a very physical game,” said Matthews.
“It’s been a while since I had an actual game under my belt so it was good to get a few more minutes as I get ready for the Charity Shield.
“We currently have a couple of injuries at the moment with players also involved with the NRL All-Stars match so there will be a few boys including myself trying to impress the coaches.
“It will be a good game for us to be involved in as we continue preparing for the new season.”

Mann, Packer Flo and Nighty all been good. Very poor by both teams standards, even for a trial.
Our on-line D and scramble have been great though.

Benji will have one less game now to impress. Aiken gets a spot over Lafai. Want to see Nona and Milne now.

Oh please, the only reason you think Cook is any good is because he's not playing for us. No one cared when he left.
