Martinez is milking it for everything it's worth, because that's what he does.

That's because if he did bite, it was very subtle, hence why they'd be apprehensive about even making any suggestion of it. They weren't afforded with the opportunity to look at it over and over and over again like everyone could after the game. Martinez has a bit of a point though. You shouldn't be able to handle people around the neck like that.

I didn't say there WAS a bite, but one must ask what the f**k he really was trying to do?! Did he think about trying to bite him and then change his mind at the last second? Did his team mate stop him just before he was about to do it? Because I find the whole head movement extremely odd and suspicious. He didn't slip, nor was he pushed. It was all voluntary. The only possible conclusions you can draw is that he either tried to bite McCarthy, tried to wipe his mouth for some reason, or he was trying to engage in some kinky foreplay.

7 points from 9 games without Cesc and Costa. Massive three points today. Played out almost as last year's fixture and went pretty much as I expected. Stone cold pen not given could have changed the game early. Matic was superb all match. The early combination play of Hazard and Willian was a joy to watch. I think sometimes they overplay their ball possession. Still I love their confidence on the ball.

This win hopefully gives the boys more calm going forward as I feel the pressure (of being favored) has been gradually increasing the last couple of games. Diegos return should lessen that pressure somewhat, hopefully. On to the CL.

Well, it's obvious that you haven't seen the full video, which I was always going off. He was pulling McCarthy away, but that was before he decided to start woodpecking at his shoulder.

I watched the game live and wound it back. Watched the video's etc. Didn't think it was anything and the ref was right there.
