Hahahaha

I hope for your sake he signs Jimmy.

Pretty much every time a manager leaves your club you start banging on about Jose...

Is your man crush on Jose bigger than your man crush for the fat man?

It'll be interesting to see how he will work with Josè, if at all

It's the only reason I questioned the chances of his return initially. He was behind the FSW and AVB debacles, but this only strengthened his standing under Roman, in fact I think he got a promotion.

He has no qualifications for the role he fills other than a few lower div games as a player and a job as a High school girls coach in the US.

Hopefully he goes when Jose comes.

The stars are continuing to align...

Jose Mourinho?s return to Chelsea a step closer after Real Madrid make bid for Paris St-Germain's Carlo Ancelotti

Jose Mourinho?s expected return to Chelsea moved another significant step forward on Monday night when Real Madrid, his current club, made what Paris St-Germain are treating as an official approach for Carlo Ancelotti.

In an interview with L?Equipe, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi said that he had been contacted by Jose Angel Sanchez, the Madrid general manager, with the request to open negotiations with Ancelotti.

It has long been known that Mourinho would almost certainly leave Spain this summer and a move for Ancelotti further paves the way for the self-styled Special One to fulfil his stated desire to return ?where I am loved? at Chelsea.

?A few days ago, the general manager of Real Madrid contacted me to talk to Ancelotti,? said Al-Khelaifi. ?Very quickly, I told them: ?If you want to have Carlo, you need to know that he has a year left on his contract, so please respect the contract. Today, we do not have the same stature as Real Madrid, but we do deserve the same respect?.

?He apologised and told me he had thought Ancelotti?s contract was expiring but I told him that was wrong. He told me they would take that into account. We want to keep Carlo, everybody loves him here, the players, the supporters and myself.?

Negotiations between Mourinho and Chelsea are nearing completion and there is also now the expectation that Frank Lampard, the club?s new all-time record goal-scorer, will sign a one-year contract extension.

There will be a special presentation to Lampard when Chelsea meet Everton on Sunday at Stamford Bridge in recognition of him surpassing Bobby Tambling as the club?s all-time record goalscorer.

I like the Ancelotti move he is the perfect manager to take over at Madrid. They'll be better for the move. Does that open the door for Arsene to PSG?

That was the rumour doing the rounds a couple of weeks ago

Arsene to replace Carlo, who is replacing Josè, who is replacing Benitez...

Wigan Gooorn

So the table looks like this:

3. Chelsea 72 pts (+35)
4. Arsenal 70 pts (+34)
5. Spurs 69 pts (+19)

A win against Everton wraps up third pace and a spot in the groups

A draw against Everton means that Arsenal could nick third if they beat Newcastle by two goals, or by one goal if they score three more than we score against Everton

If we end up level with Arsenal on points, F/A and goals scored, we'd need a playoff game for third

If we lose to Everton, Spurs would need to win by about 15...

Nervous about tomorrow. No Hazard is a huge disappointment. He opens teams up. I'm a little worried about this now without an in-form striker to take the passes that Mata et. al will be providing, it might be hard to break them down until we do score.

If we start with Lampard and Ramires in the midfield 'two' I fear we will be too open.

I hope we start off solid and play Cahill and Ivanovic with Luiz and Lampard in front of them, and Ramires playing wide right as he did so successfully last season getting up and down the whole right flank.
Would save Moses as an impact player because if we start with him and things aren't going well, we have no forward options on the bench.

Hazard is indeed a big loss, but we should have enough firepower to get it done. We did beat them home and away last year in the CL

The team selection will be very interesting, especially if JT is fit. Controlling the midfield is vital though

Should be a great game for the neutrals

Cech, Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Cahill, Cole; Ramires, Lampard, Luiz; Oscar, Mata; Torres

Very thin bench though...

Great save to deny Frank, that would have been a magnificent goal

We're really missing Hazard

Yep

At the end of the day the goal stat is more important than the possession stat...
