Again reinforcing just what Chelsea fans have become.. It wasn't long ago two Chelsea fans, i think in this very thread, were rejoicing beating west ham on the away goal rule over the home and away games during this years premier league..

If fans of a club with the resources of chelsea are measuring themselves against such things with a club like west ham, it shows the desperation that has set in.

 Please tell us more....

Really?

So Haffa, where are you going to watch our second consecutive European final?

I will be watching from the comfort of the Pig and Whistle, Eagle st in Brisbane with a few more like minded Chels supporters. They're staying open for us, so we can watch in the warmth instead of in the cold on Queen Street.

How about you?

Last night I watched Super Frank confirm our Champions League status for another year with a supporters group who will be watching the Final from Cheers bar in the city

Not sure if I'll be joining them on Thursday though, the first train would only get me in there by halftime

I suppose it would be quite something to make a bit more history by becoming the first English club to win all three European Cups...

Shame about the trains, I met Gareth at the National meet in march, he's doing a good job despite those logistics issues. I used to get to the crown when the group used to meet there, before I moved up here.

Another record for the club with no 'istory.

If we win on Thursday we will join Ajax and Juventus as the only clubs to have won the four European trophies: the Champions League; Europa League; Cup Winners Cup and the Super Cup.

An achievement that required you to fail in the Champions League...

That's true

But it would be a noteworthy achievement nonetheless

As Haffa correctly points out, you had the same opportunity last year, but couldn't make it to the quarters...

Gareth is doing a great job, but would like to get a few more numbers for normal round matches. We had about a dozen or so there on Saturday, but he'd certainly like to see more

Bayern have won all three as well

No English clubs though...

Do you idiots practice your disingenuousness, or does it come naturally?

So I guess should we win that will make Super Frank the first player to to win every major trophy with the club?

Edit. Cech too.

Now now, be nice to the chelsea fans, this season hasn't worked out anywhere near as they had planned so they are a little precious right now..

Chalobah looked good for Watford, probably another year away from competing but he's one for the future.

What point are you trying to make Jason?

You seem to be criticising my team for making the final of a comp in which your team couldn't get past the round of 16 last year

Which is a rather pointless endeavor...
