I'll be in the Matthew Harding Stand for the Arsenal game so I'll have a good time regardless. The atmosphere for the CL game is going to be incredible, I'll probably still be on a high on saturday.

I sorted the Arsenal tickets last week. But I have been sweating on my mate having enough member points on his Mrs' membership so I could nab his spare for the Galatasaray game. Turned out I didn't need to worry as the boys from thechels.net sorted two spares.

This lad HAS to be given a shot in the pre-season, otherwise we're kidding ourselves. and he should be given a chance even if we buy a name striker in the summer (which we will, of course). 22 goals from 33 starts this season, across two clubs and two different leagues. I'm given some level of optimism by the fact that the club appears to have taken notice of his form for MK Dons in League One during the first half of the season, and moved him up a league to Derby in the Championship (where he's still scoring goals for fun).

I can't help thinking that if we didn't own him already, we would buy him....

..... and then send him off on loan.
