If we didn't have the U21's final next week I'd expect a few of them to feature on sunday.

The poll above referred to 2013 GB

It was merged with this thread by mistake

Whilst that is true and I am responsible for merging them (mybad), surely you expected to win trophies this season

Clubs like Chelsea should always expect to win trophies

An improvement in the League and making the CL semis is hardly the abject failure which some would like to suggest though

Good to see Van Ginkel get his call-up despite missing most of the year. Can't wait to see him feature more next season.

Also good to see all our Brazilian lads get a call up.

My bad

But specifically on Jose, in the last 4 years he's won 2 major trophies IIRC.

Given the resources at RM and Chelsea, that's a fail

A massive fail.

How long before the Chelsea dressing room ends up like the RM one finished..

He has been particularly cranky this season. I see he just got a10k fine for his post Sunderland game cry.

Thats actually a fair point.

Given the resources at his disposal I think just about any manager could have achieved what he has done, probably with the exception of AVB.

Even Ancelotti has done better with virtually the same squad plus Bale and I remember when he was at Milan the fans couldn't wait to see the back of him with all his faults, the biggest one being playing his favourites like Seedorf when he was obviously way past his use by date.
