Why do you think premier league is going so badly? Ladies and gentlemen its the KENNEDY EFFECT!!!!!

Last week's game against Wests I think he collected the posts at either end of the field .. lol worth a laugh or 2

So tne guys we would let go (i'll be devil's advocate for them) are;

Luke Grant - 21 year old son of all-time great David Grant and a guy who had some very good years for us in Flegg. He has a real knack for scoring tries when he gets the ball close to the line and was always near the top of the try scoring lists.

Brendan Hlad - a twenty year old who has played for NSW - won an SG Ball title and is a tackling machine.

Matt Kennedy - a very hard worker who has been just off firstgrade level for some time and should be hitting his best years about now.

Hanan Laban - a hardhitting 20 year old who was rated the best junior prop in NZ when we signed him.

Mitch Steel - our best player in Flegg last year and has been given very few chances in only his second year at the club.

Larry Tuafua - a giant forward who runs really hard and was named as one of our best trainers in the last off season - but an early injury this season has seen him get few chances to impress.

Worth - a decent performer in firstgrade at times last season and still only 23.

Young - OK, even i can't think of anything good about him - except that it is good that he finally gave Chief Harrogan back his shoulder pads.

I only chose 9.

I didn't feel like I had a right to vote for players who I've honestly only ever heard about.

These two should definately be kept.

Mine were:

Baileyu
Brown
Natusch
Royal
Snowden
Tolar
Vaughan
White
Worth
Young

A mixture of honest toilers and possible superstars.
Young - OK, even i can't think of anything good about him - except that it is good that he finally gave Chief Harrogan back his shoulder pads.

A bit of a carve up, which is something I didn't think you were in the habit of. The bloke has worked hard for several years, adapting to the backrow with so many good fullbacks at the club. He has been defensively sound, copped the flak for a dodgy backline a couple of years ago featuring Josh Smith and his merry men and now finds himself still capable of holding a starting spot in Premier League.

He could have been a regular first grader by now had his health not declined rapidly -- he's overcome that and still gets wraps from the people that matter. Fairleigh rates him, and so he should -- a genuine Knights player for life who will probably struggle to hold onto his spot next year. I still haven't given up on him making a charge for first grade.

I was a bit hard on Young. He has proven to be the ultimate club man, which you have to admire him for.
His defence has always been top shelf, and he pulls off some bell-ringers of tackles.
I don't think we will see him next year either - but no-one can say he didn't give everything and do everything for the club.
I'm glad he got a few games of firstgrade so that he can come back and march around the field with the other firstgraders at the last home game every year - he has put in more effort than most.

Right there is a mix of young blokes with a load of potential and rep honours and can go on to make a name for themselves.

I've always been a supporter of Royal, but from the limited PL games i've seen this season, i just can't see himself making a name here. He has a lot of potential but really doesn't live up to it.

plus hes 27 next year, there has to be a point where you say to yourself, its probably abit late now. I'd rather keep a young guy like Taufua who is something different to what we already have

I'd keep Bailey, Brown, Royal, Snowden, Tolar, Vaughan and White.

I'd let go Kennedy, Cooper, Worth and Young as I dont see them as genuiene first graders and feel that they will never offer anythng at this level except as a replacement and I'd rather see up and commers take that role.

The others I dont know well enough to comment on.

we dont. Luke Davico,

With all due respect have you ever seen Davico at his best?

Mate if he can get back to his best and his still young enough he can be a real game breaker for us.

You can correct this if you know something different but a friend of Michael Young told me that he had signed a one-year deal with the club a month or two ago. Maybe he is wrong, but he didn't think Youngie would stay with the club beyond 2007 unless he cracked first grade again... will probably go back to the real NRL after that.

Any ideas if Young did sign Roopy?
