Thanks for lending it to Fox Sports, I really enjoyed watching it !

Some things that stood out :

- John Simon's shoulder pads made him look like a Sumo
- how far back Simon stood for kicks ( like Soward does )
- even allowing for leniency in Origin games, there were a lot of high shots that were let go . eg - Sironen whacking Steve Jackson & no penalty, even though Jackson took no further part in the game
- condition of the field, like a cricket pitch in a lot of areas
- Darrell Eastlake's commentary. I suppose you either loved it or hated it - I thought it suited the game & was a good contrast to the surprisingly low key Ray Warren.

Eastlake was a good commentator - he just never stopped and always had something to say about somebody. I prefer it over some of the Fox robots and Vossy.

Yeah, his commentary never seemed to change. Whether it was league or any other sport ( including those famous calls of weightlifting ), he seemed genuinely excited & passionate.

He didn't take himself too seriously & I can't recall him ever saying anything nasty or making a personal comment that was a cheap shot ( unlike others ).

Its great, love seeing the older games that i have never had a chance to see since i have only followed the game for 4 years.

Wish they would show more games with Fittler and Johns, 2 players i wish i had of seen in the flesh

Not so much Fittler but Johns has been featured fairly often as far as these classic replays go.
