Woolford was interviewed one time and mentioned this game was really cold (obviously) but reckons the game against Newcastle in 2003 was even colder.

What were the choices?

Bulldogs, Eels and Dragons games are on every week cause they have the most avid fans.

I always forget to vote.

What a surprise to see Bill Harrigan award a controversial play the ball penalty towards the end of the game.

How good was it seeing a game at belmore again. Hill was packed and it seemed the atmosphere was pretty good.

I don't remember watching this game back then but I do remember it from those magic moments VHS tapes you used to get for buying a carton of winnies.

Penrith and Illawarra in 1994 tonight.

Not a bad game watching it.

It was good to watch just for Darren Fritz's mullet, it was magic. Even more noticeable next to Dean Callaway's haircut, which you could set your watch to.

Not sure what happened there - the Norths-Sharks game had the most votes by far. Supposedly, Foxtel didn't have the 'rights' to show that game, begging the question - why have the Norths-Sharks game as an option in the first place???

I don't think that was the case, they've been showing games from early to mid 90's this year, might've just been a mistake with the game that went to air.

What really stood out for me was how much quicker the play the ball was. Partially due to less wrestling and holding down in the ruck, but the lax policing of the ptb was a factor too. Some guys we're just chucking it through  IMO very strict rules on how you play the ball detract from the game as a spectacle rather than add to it.

Great game though. The Wishart/McGregor try was a classic. Panther Park hasn't changed much.

Watched it last night as I am an old steelers fan. Some the the play the balls we deplorable. Fritz's mullet was sensational and had to admire the fact that Alexander was playing FB, 5/8 and HB for most of the game.
