To bad Balmain Sold out and didn't choose to fight for Survival. They would of been celebrating 100 years celebrations as the Balmain Tigers.
Oh well.

Same colours same club.
Took on the powers of New limited and fighted for our hertiage and would die trying.
If we bent over and merged I wouldn't of followed them thats for sure.

and then SOLD your club (for the same amount st.george illawarra sold a quarter of theirs), taking it away from the people and the fans.

we expanded our club, which resulted in us winning a premiership and now have probably the largest junior base in sydney. i couldnt be happier with the result.

LOL...shouldve fought hard.

Wests were kicked out of the comp, twice, fought thru the courts to get back in, moved to Cambo...couldnt make a go of things there, I think they'd know when their number was up.

Yeah, we own approximately 25% of the club now, whereas we owned approximately 0% of the club as of March 18th, 2006. We couldn't be happier with how things have transpired, so try another insult.

I live in Leumeah, not to far from Campbelltown Stadium, played in their Junior leagues.
Watched players like Brice Gibbs since he was 5.
I know my own local area more than you would. Trust me the Magpie and Tiger fans dont get along like a happy family. Even their own fans fight against each other.

Has nothing to do with who I support, more to the fact that I played in that league for many years as did many of my friends and players who are playing in first grade at the current moment.
They were always poor when it come to it's juniors and it's why they end up and taken by other clubs. I can't speak for the Balmain side of things, but I know the magpies was poor when it come to it's junior comp. Little bit of advice for you, if you have no idea what your talking about than stay out of it or you just look like a idiot.

I was thinking of Jerseys, I would rather see a Western Suburbs and balmain tigers jersey than see a west tigers jersey.

Heres a crazy idea. First the first half of the season they wear a full magpies jersey. No merger crap on it just full Western suburbs magpies.
Than do the same for Balmain in the second half of the season. That would be good for the 100 years thing.
Show the fans of each club what they have been missing out on.

hey bud we're the wests tigers now. we play in he heritage jerseys when needed. playing for half a season in each would only bring the club back years.
