Coaching Buzz

Have just heard from a little birdy who is pretty tight with the staff and players, that the coaching position is not cut and dry for Hagan. and in fact that it will be JT who will be given the role as head coach for 2007.

JT will also be taking on a more proactive role for 06. he will be pretty much running the show but with Brian still officially Head Coach. I suppose it's as much like full time work experiance.

Also Peter Sharp looks like to be on the move, either to Knights or Storm. With the later being the favourite.

Like I said, a little birdy told me, so don't take it as gospel but everything that this bird has ever told me pretty much has come to fruition.

Hmm...

I just recall someone mentioning that there was a stong possibility our 2007 Head Coach would be named around Christmas-time.

This version makes much more sense, and there's nothing wrong with making JT feel he has "earnt it" in competition amongst other coaches in the marketplace.

I can see Brian Smith being much happier with giving someone in his team more control than having to negotiate future player contracts etc during the course of a season with someone who is still coach of an opposing team?

I'm prepared to wait until Febrary for the decision, if it means they have thought it all through properly and not just gone with a knee-jerk decision to sign someone who's scouting around off-contract.

A little birdy told me something yesterday too........

..that worms taste nice, and if you get up real early you'll get the pick of the bunch.

Take it with a grain of salt though, people.

HJ believes nothing. I personally think that JT is the new favourite as Hagan would have been announced by now had he accepted our offer.

I believe JT may be back in the picture due to the pressure put on by some of the players.

One things for sure if it's anyone other than the 2 people touted I'd be very surprised.

I hope Sharpe doesn't leave us

if he's not going to get the head coaching job here I'm sure he'll be seeking it else where and who can blame him.

Let's face it Sharpe isn't going to get a Head Coaching position at the moment so he might aswell stay with us........

There is one other name in the ring at the moment besides JT and Hagan. That name is one G Murray!

But like i previously posted JT is the man at the moment.
