Don Furner just announced on ABC radio that Colin Best has signed with us for 2 years. Martin and Chalk also have contracts tabled. He also alluded to the fact there's a number of other players we're looking at, but no names were named.

Choc was also on and basically confirmed that he'll be staying out his contract and will be here for the next 2 years.

If our halves can put up some decent bombs Best will be a handy buy.
Good to see Chalk been offered a contract.

I'm happy with this news. Best seems a lot bigger and stronger since his return to the NRL from the UK and was the Dragons' highest try scorer from memory?

Good signing, he walks into our FG starting side.

Sounds like a decent guy, even though he played for Engadine Dragons. My god they were crap when we played em.

Cool nickname aswell, anyone thinking banners?

Makes sense to bring some experience back into the team with so much leaving. Not an ideal buy, but a good one that makes some sense.

Can`t find any mention of this online, though.
