Best:

Seinfeld - absolute genius. From the writing and acting to everything in between this show is perfection. All the extras on the show were bloody hilarious...Abu, Soup nazi, Newman, Puddy, Petermen, Mr Litman, Mr Bookman, Jackie Chiles, Georges parents, Jerrys dad, Elaines father etc. The extras on Seinfeld are funnier than just about all of the leads in most other comedies.

Curb Your Enthusiasm - Absolute GOLD. Larry David is one funny bugger and his humour is pretty much the same as mine. Again, the extras are great. Jeff, Wanda, Susie, Richard Lewis, Krazy Eyez Killa, the hooker he picks up in order to travel in the car pool lane lol....

South Park - Cartman rules. Pulls no punches and makes fun of everything. Also very clever.

Simpsons - in its prime during the 90s it was brilliant. Again another clever show. I like witty shows which challenge you to understand every single joke, some less obvious than others.

A host of British comedies - the Royal Family/Bottom/Young Ones/One Foot in the Grave - hard to seperate them. They're all classic british comedies with memorable characters.

Worst:

Family Guy - toilet humour. Sucks balls.

Frasier - cant stand it...a show full of annoying pansies.

Will and Grace/Dharma and Greg - too over the top. The acting is so forced and they're basically the more popular of a huge bunch of generic, mundane US comedies.

All those sh*t, overrated comedies from the 60s/70s - Bewitched, Gilligans Island and a bunch of others that my mind has blocked out. You can find them all on TV1.

Sabrina the Teenage Bitch - f**k i hated that show.

old mate copping hate because his opinion is wrong

Exactly, what the f**k is he thinking.

Two and a half men is utter drivel.

Charlie Sheen trotting around in a bowling shirt and boat shoes with his geniused brother and his fat arse geniused son in some luxury beachside property in Santa Monica or wherever the f**k it is, yet doesn't work and still manages to go around pulling hot chicks half his age.

Every episode is Charlie sleeping with some chick, gets in a Curb Your Enthusiasm style awkward moment when he inevitably bumps into former shag. The fat kid says something stupid and/or doesn't do his home work. Brother says something unfunny to the fat housekeeper.

Push your chairs back lads, that's another done. Lunch?

Two and a Half Men gets a decent laugh...but it shouldn't be in any "best comedy evar" lists...

Best:
Seinfeld
Fawlty Towers
South Park
Simpsons back in the day
Family Guy
Friends
Frasier
Black Books
The Office US

not necessarily worst but overrated crap:
Kath and Kim. Sort of amusing at first, but its so fking repetitive. Severely overrated
Will and Grace sh*ts me. Yawn. The characters are annoying...
new Simpsons

Worst:
The Wedge

Original poster likes sh*t tv and dislikes some good show

Anyway - good
Simpsons
Seinfeld
Fawlty Towers
Monty Python
Futurama
Scrubs
Young Ones
Blackadder
South Park
MASH

Bad
Friends
Everybody Loves Raymond
2 and a half men
comedy inc
the general mediocre sitcom from the states

I agree with a lot of that except:

I haven't seen Young ones or Blackadder enough to comment, and I wouldn't put Scrubs in best but it's growing on me.

I'll add Becker too.
