Talking about party games, if they
put a blind fold on John Morris it would probably help his kicking and passing game

This thread is gold.

I laugh, but when you stop and think about it for a second its actually quite depressing. The whole lot - Morris, McDonnell, Sizzler etc. etc.

All valid concerns.

There is a joke there about shines signing a winger from canterbury to play halfback (well it wouldn't be the first time) because he had heard about his bombs ...

LMFAO!!

And smeg .. what about last year's games where he had 5 good (and i'm being f**king generous) and 19 bad ... forgotten as well eh ... no wonder shines and sizzler are given an easy ride by the spastics and sycophants on the official forum and WTF

Hardly. I believe he has the right to earn his place with this seasons form. I would be more than happy to see Head in the side at halfback if he can play the full 80 minutes and is match ready and fit.

But wait. That wouldn't suit your theory of being given an easy ride by the likes of myself so I had best not state that one. Fact is not one of our playmakers played well on Sunday. Not one. Even Hodgo as much as he tried was giving centres and wingers up to 4 hit ups in a set even when props were waiting to take them. Not to mention the abortion of a play flogged to death of inside ball after inside ball followed by stupid rushed passing from all and sundry

f**king awesome thread.

Just for you Mulvi, I did a lot of research on the history of Rugby League in Australia, England and New Zealand, and I am quite certain this event is the first of it's kind in the Rugby League World.

In the 1920's and 1930's the NSWRL worked on making an AFL-Rugby League Hybrid game, which obviously didn't come through (If it did, then John Morris would be the greatest player ever, sh*thouse passing and kicking skills, complete lack of organisation, and no need to worry about overlaps), but nothing is innovative as the egg and spoon has ever been introduced to the game.

This could turn the Rugby League world on it's ear.

We are nothing if not innovators ... this is right up there with Coash Shines' silly wigs at training as an innovation that could change the course of the game. I note with interest that there is an open training session today with face paint and all you can eat ribs at Campbelltown ... if ever something could place stress on the coffers of WT it is free face paint and cheap food for the people of Campbelltown.

I still recall fondly a game out at Campbelltown when the Wokka promo people were handing out boxes of wokka noodles .. it was like the charge of the light brigade to get down to the fence and the sight of fat trackie dack wearing pig mothers (who honestly f**ks these women??) carrying 28 cartons of wokka noodles to feed the family for a week was another innovation the WT should be very proud of

i think a real problem of the sheens era of the tigers is that if an attacking play doesn't work, they just keep doing it.
on sunday it was inside passes, which resulted in a lot of dropped bal and turn overs.
in the past it was princes cross field bombs at campbelltow 04 against the cowboys
or 05 against the warriors in the pouring rain when it was spread out to the wingers on the 2nd and 3rd tackle most sets to have he ball runner bundled into touch.
those are two old examples off the top of my head.

but it does seem that if the plan works, we win
if the plan doesn't work, we keep going with the plan and lose.

Shines would never think of something as innovative as a Plan B
I'm waiting for him to adopt Tommy Raudonikis' game plan of "No game plan" where Tommy's blinding intellect stated "If we don't know what we're going to do, then there's no way our opposition will"

Maybe we could be seeing the second coming of Tommy
