how about we use the under 20s for a "global" 9s program??

under 20s RLEF 9s,RLPF 9s & RLIF world 9s every year....then the commonwealth 9s ever 4 years...

sounds bloody perfect to me! you think anyone has even discussed the future on 9's rugby league at an international level?

i asked danny k last year in a Q&A on facebook if the RLEF had ever thought about using 9s as a development tool and a showcase to highlight the growth of the game in europe and it be a precursor to bringing back a "world 9s".

just seen on facebook,via the RLEF,that the RLIF have committed to hosting a U23s comp prior to the next commonwealths on the gold coast in 2018...

Yes it was a 90 minute program with full commentary of the final and semi finals plus highlights of all the other matches.

Hilarious. But in all seriousness, this still should have been a sin-bin if not a send-off. They always talk about 'intent' being the key, so they need to be a bit more consistent with it...
