You get a point for missing in fumbleball, I can totally get one point for byes.

Commission needs to act on this immediately

How is it a disadvantage?

I know we won last night but we had a half and centre missing; hence the disadvantage(you could obviously argue that they had players missing etc etc, but it's still a disadvantage). We also go through 2 origin games without a bye, meaning we will have to without a break longer than any other team.

We also play Melbourne and Roosters without their Origin players. I would say our bye schedule is an advantage not a disadvantage

Everyone has a player missing bar the Warriors and Penrith. And your late bye means less games in the lead up to the finals.

Besides, as you said, you won last night. Besides, you have bought every bastard off contract in the last 3 years, put up with it!

I don't understand how we can't have one round split over the three weekends before Origin i.e. two matches before Game I, three matches before Game II, and three matches before Game III.

That way teams will each have to only play one match without their Representative players and there'd be no need for bye points as this would be considered one round spread over 6 weeks.

The points aren't the problem, especially since it evens out by the end of the season. The real problem is that teams get byes at different times, disadvantaging some teams that are without origin players; all teams should have byes at the same time.
Yep.

Stand alone rep weekends will fix it, take the chance to have the tv rights holders broadcast more nsw/qld cup games to fill up the weekend's quota.

This is so f**ktarded my head hurts.

Though I bet we wouldn't have this problem with Topball.

given the way soward is kicking this year, we'll even miss the two points for the bye..

Thanks to the bye, the Tigers aren't last, at present.

The 2 points can stay for now.

:lol::lol::lol:

Try losing the players we do every year ( this year it's our entire back row and a centre on top of guys like Hannant, Stagg, Jow Yeh ect sitting on the sidelines ) and then always seem to play sides with minimal or zero origin players as well. Usually the Broncos play teams like the Warriors, Tigers, Sharks ( yes I know this year the Tigers are shit and the Warriors inconsistent ) before origins and then have to line up against teams like the Storm origin week. Wanna trade?

We have Warriors, Raiders, Tigers, Bye, Warriors, Storm and Sharks though Origin. 5 Teams barely touched by origin if at all and the Storm origin week. Tigers are the only easy beats there really.

We do have Gallen, Fifita & Lewis in origin, so we are a bit more than barely touched by it.

The Broncos always suffer in origin because they have so many reps but generally have the backup to get through it. This year, the backup may not be there.

Maybe they shouldn't need the backup, should so many Broncs be in the Qld team considering they are not playing that well?

Massive non-issue. They are worth the same. Everyone gets the same amount. It does not matter. Make them zero. Make them 12.7 billion. I don't care, and neither should you.
