I'd be impressed if it was 10% of that!

As far as I'm aware 'spud, they haven't sold anything yet. Not a season ticket or any merchandise. 4000-5000 people may have registered an interest in buying a season ticket (myself included). If they have sold any season tickets then their marketing department isn't very good at keeping their potential customers in the loop.

i heard paul rowley say it on bbc radio manchester...maybe he meant 4000-5000 have signed up for info about season tickets?

He must've, cos on their website, that's all you can do at this stage as dp said. It's not really an indication of how many they will end up selling though as the majority could well be curious overseas fans.
