Eddie Su'a & Henry Perenara are linked to be staying at the club, no confirmation yet. Watts has been released.

Matt Ballin is under contract with Manly till 2008. No idea about Neumann.

Champion re-signed with Souths earlier this year, i forgot for how long though. It was part of an article where another player re-signed...either Gordon or Talanoa. I heard Hegarty re-signed too?

Brett Delaney is at Titans for 2007, 2008, 2009. I found the Mark Mini article, however it doesn't state the length of the contract. He is a very good player IMO. Underrated & strong. Same deal with Friend. The article doesn't state the contract length.

PLAY IT AGAIN, SAM ... North Queensland have re-signed youthful second-rower Sam Faust for next season

IMPROVING Cowboys back-rower Sam Faust has just entered the bonus zone.
When the 2007 season rolled around the 22-year-old Proserpine junior set himself a modest goal of playing at least one first-grade game.
Fast forward seven months and not only has Faust achieved that aim, but on Saturday night he will get his first taste of NRL finals football when North Queensland tackle the Bulldogs.
On top of that, Faust yesterday joined utility Mark Henry in agreeing to a one-year deal with the club that will see the pair remain at the Cowboys until the end of next year.
"I'm really excited," the former Kirwan High student said of his foray into NRL finals footy.
"One of my goals was to at least play one game, so to come this far is a bit of a bonus.
"There have been a few injuries so I probably got my chance through them. But I have got to take it while I can."
And that is exactly what he has done.
While a string of injuries in the forwards may have given him his opportunity, Faust has quickly established himself as a reliable member of the Cowboys' pack.
Recruitment manager Peter Jones said the club was thrilled to have extended the second-rower's stay in Townsville.
"We were very keen to get him stitched up and (coach) Graham (Murray) is very happy with the way he has come into first grade," Jones said.
"We didn't think he would get 10 (games) out, we thought he could play a couple for sure, but to end up with 10 to his name so far has been very good for him.
"He is very reliable, his go-forward is good and he doesn't miss many tackles.
"It just goes to show that if given an opportunity a lot of blokes grab it these days and they go with it."
After originally telling Henry he was free to explore his options, the Cowboys decided to reward the 26-year-old for his strong finish to the season.
"We said we would always come back if there was something there, which we have and the one-year deal goes to tell him that we need him for next year and he was happy with that," Jones said. "He's doing a very good job for us at the moment.
"Him and Ben Farrar on that left side last week, they did very well, so we just hope they can continue for a couple of weeks to come."
With the contract talk now behind him, Faust said he was raring to rip into the Bulldogs pack, but he was expecting a different prospect to the team the Cowboys beat last Friday.
"It was good to get the win against them but I think they are going to come out a different team again, pretty fired up," he said. "This is probably their last crack at it if they do lose, so I think it will mean a fair bit more.
"Semis football is always a fair bit more fiery and quicker."
Following Faust's and Henry's re-signings the Cowboys have boosted their 2008 roster size to 29 players.
The club is still waiting on an answer from Justin Smith after they offered the utility an 11th-hour contract last week.

The Newcastle Knights are proud to announce rising star, Terence Seuseu has agreed to terms with the club, signing until at least the end of the 2009 season.

The 19-year-old New Zealand A representative has shown outstanding form in the club’s two trial matches, scoring two tries in Darwin against the Panthers and a man of the match performance in the Knights 12-10 win against the Sharks at Cessnock last weekend.

“Through his outstanding performances in NRL pre-season games Terence has impressed the coaching staff with his all round game,” said Knights coach, Brian Smith.

Very strong defensively and confident in his dummy half running and kicking, Terence has displayed the qualities expected of hookers at the Knights both past and present.”

Seuseu becomes the latest player secured by the club from a list of outstanding up and coming junior talent, including Akuila Uate, James McManus and Jacob Ling.

“By joining the full time squad, we plan to assist Terence in developing his talents in 07 and beyond,” said Smith.

Meanwhile, in his first season of senior Rugby League, Mark Tafua has been awarded a one year contract.

The former local rugby powerhouse impressed Brian Smith through a dedicated pre-season and strong trial match performances.

“From his first day at training Mark displayed the qualities we are looking for in a forward, Smith said.”

“His attitude, fitness and toughness have lifted the intensity of our training sessions daily and his preseason match performances have encouraged us to see what he can do to improve his talents in season 07, his first in rugby league for a number of years.

“I’m excited and looking forward to making the most of the opportunity – it’s a new beginning for me,” said Mark Tafua.

“The transition from Rugby has been a steep learning curve but the training staff and players have been a great help.”
