1. Minichello, 2. Grose, 3. Perrett, 4. Soliola, 5. Roberts, 6. Anasta, 7. Pearce ????? Is that what they are thinking?

Where does that leave Ausbusson?...lock?...

8. O'Meley, 9. Ausbusson, 10. Nutley, 11. Mason, 12. Fitzgibbon, 13. Ausbusson
14. Tupou, 14. Myles, 16. Shillington, 17. Sa

18. L.Paea, 19. M.Paea, 20. Shackleton

i heard that the Roosters have a spare 250k to spend on either 1 quality player or two young players up and coming players

The Roosters will always have room to move under the cap. One of the great mysteries of the modern world. Schubert and the magic pencil.

We will still beat them in round 1, as a bunnies fan, they cheat and then they still wont beat us.

we didnt really care in round 26, we had already made the 8, although we could of finished higher.

Yes, Rubbish like you guys were round's 1 through to 15 last year! We had about 3 games where we didn't turn up to play last year, you guys tanked half a season because you didn't like the coach. Some of those guys were on 400k a season and didn't do a thing until Fittler turned up at the death. Real great team!!

Despite this, souths only ended up 2 wins higher than the roosters.. and that was a roosters bad season??

Payne re-signs with Cowboys

December 14, 2007 NORTH Queensland vice-captain Aaron Payne has re-signed with the NRL club for another four years.

Cowboys boss Peter Parr said securing Townsville junior Payne until the end of the 2011 NRL season was a major coup.
"We are delighted to have extended Aaron's tenure at the club," he said.

The 25-year-old hooker made his NRL debut at the Cowboys in 2002 and was one of the first players to come through the club's development system.

Cowboys coach Graham Murray said Payne's re-signing was a "significant move" for the club.

"To have a player of his calibre who is an integral part of the team re-sign is a big plus leading into the new season," he said.

Payne has played 110 first grade games for North Queensland.
