Why?

Taylor, Pettybourne, Geddes out. Lima, Teo, Burgess in. Seems about right to me.

Salary cap and the fact 3 of the 4 Burgess brothers are specialist props, shows what they are looking for on the market.
I dont see Asotasi being resigned. Feel free to think otherwise.

He won't be re-signed past his current deal, but he's got another year to run on is current contract and I'd be surprised if he isn't at the club in 2013.

Asotasi will be ridiculously cheaper in 2014, so we will see

Besides the more specialist props we have, the less Asotasi has to play there. I'd like his future to be in the second row

Tom will probably take a year to work his way into the side, but George should be a regular next year. He looked very comfortable in the few games he played, too bad he got that stomach injury a couple weeks back

Also I'd say all of the Burgess is are props. Sam is clearly better at prop than second row IMO

He might be better at prop which is entirely arguable, but unlike George & Luke, he has the skill to play 2nd row and not lose any of his game and vice versa.
George And Luke are good old fashioned Props. Ive yet to see Tom play, so i dont know if hes more like George/Luke or Sam.

Out of the three players we have lost, one is a genuine prop and another is playing there at the moment. Taylor is the only one of the three who has played back row all year. We have signed two genuine props and a player who can play both in Teo. Still like for like imo. Asotasi still does not come into it at all.

Sure he does. Youve signed George for 2014. Luke, Sam, Tom will follow, Lima is there as well past 2014.

The idea that Asotasi will be cheap in 2014 is laughable. Hes off to England.

I assumed you were talking about next year. If you are talking about 2014 then he is off contract and that is a completely different story, I agree. I would not put it past him to retire.

He will be here in 2013 though. He will see out the last year of his contract.
