$1m/season is about right IMO. DCE is on about $1.2m and Ben Hunt is on $1m, I would consider Foran better than both of those players.

The off field issues could be a problem but its a gamble we needed to take. It's naive to sign someone with off field issues and think that they won't play up at your club, but Foran seems to be heading in the right direction.

Players as good as Foran are rare and should be paid as he is going to be by Canterbury. There's only 4 or 5 in the comp in that bracket yet there's a heap being paid superstar money that just aren't superstars.

Keiran Foran hasn't been in the category of player he is being bandied about as since precisely the match where Manly wore that stupid f**king Wolverine Jersey in August 2014.

Paying a million a year for a guy with bung hammies (Look at how he is running these days) and some serious off field issues in the same city as Heyson three years after he showed anything approaching consistent form is interesting, to say the least.
