Isn't he a Queenslander ?

Alex Johnston is a Souths Junior having played for the La Perouse Panthers and was born in Sydney. As such no, he is nota Queenslander. He is eligible for NSW.

Johnstone so overrated. We were rumoured to be chasing him. Thank god we didn't get him.

Pacey and a solid defender but that's about it. He is a product of the awesome souths team which has made players like Goodwin look like a star.

I agree he is overrated but I think he has a lot of potential yet to be fulfilled. Just physically he has it way over Merritt, hopefully he continues to grow

Right now he is simply fast and a good finisher

Nate Myles confirmed for Manly on 3 year deal.

Manly offerred Myles $200k more than Titans a year..........interesting to see what happens before round 13.

Scenario changes

1) Nothing . 2016 Myles at Manly , DCE to Titans

2) Manly offer DCE more $$ and the promise of Myles to Manly ......DCE backflips and Myles does not.
2016 Myles and DCE at Manly.

3) Titans offer Myles another $200k a year to stay........Myles backflips and DCE goes to Titans.
Myles and DCE at Titans.

4) Manly offer DCE more $$ , and Titans offer Myles another $200k .
Simultaneous backflips (win win for both players , they are mates)

Manly have DCE in 2016 , Titans have Myles for 2016.

There should be a betting market on which scenario. Surprised the discussion point is only on scenario 2. Scenario 3 is just as strong possibility

In your theoretical world maybe.

But in reality, DCE's wife is not keen to move to the coast and Myles' wife wants to restart her career in acting, which means Sydney.

DCE's wife and Myles' wife are close friends also. Happy wives, happy lives.

The backflip will happen. (In my humble opinion)

DCE spoke to the Titans last night and (yet again) confirmed his commitment to the club. Scenario 1) I'm happy to say will eventuate.

Would be a good thing NB, the Titans don't need DCE, nor do they need poach. They need players to want to be there . . . culture before vulture

This is according to "Dobbo" is it? The same bloke that went on MMM a week before DCE agreed to terms with the Titans and said he was a certainty to stay at Manly.

I'll wait to hear it from DCE's mouth rather than that of a fat wanna be journo.

Not shooting the messenger, just stating this dill has no credibility.

I really think the Titans have a great player in Elgey. He won't bring the immediate "star" quality of DCE, but he has age on his side and would allow them to open up the cheque book to build a strong squad.

Time will tell I guess......

Taking up the last remaining bit of the salary cap hole left by Craig Wing.

I doubt the Roosters will be paying him much. Clearly no longer in the Warriors plans and the longer they keep him on the books, the greater the possibility of running into salary cap problems. Exactly the same reason why the Bulldogs got Inu so cheap in 2012

Joey Leilua to the Raiders in 2016.

With FPN and Joey the Raiders won't be shy of mongrel, even Jason Croker is showing signs of aggression . . . marshmallow is melting

Really, I thought Toots was living the quiet life after his retirement?
