The way i see it... They're both evil however the Roosters IMO are the lesser evil club:)

2003 - They played the Panthers... everyone felt sorry for Penrith (No supporters, no culture, crap ground etc), so they all 'went' for Penrith.
2004 - Everyone just loves the Bulldogs :)

Actually, we had plenty of supporters in 2003. Its just the fairweather ones deserted us over our 5 year barren spell of no finals and then our crowds were disappointing this year considering we had done well. Looks like we need to win a comp to get a decent fan base.

No culture?- try the Sharks

Crap Ground?- yeah because playing home games in front of vast empty spaces at ANZ Stadium and a long way from the action is so much better than a suburban ground ..... I preferred going to Belmore tbh

I don't think their stadium is crap. It's merely the fact that a lot of penrith residents grew up supporting other teams and it's hard to get a lot of these people to convert. I reckon there are more parra supporters in penrith than actual penrith supporters . I think that's their only prob because honestly their culture/stadium etc isn't that bad .
