Short of a miracle the minor premiership is won.

Congratulations. I actually have more respect for the minor premiers each year than the 'premiers'. It's hardly a minor job to win the better share of 24 matches in year.

A good come back from an poor season last year.

Cheers SER.

You make a good point. I'm used to finals, but since moving to England in sports I play here they usually don't have any, and the winner of the season is the only winner.

If things go to plan your guys will have a match on against the minor prems next week? Good luck.

Absolutely.

It's a wonderful achievement to finish the regular season in first place and I would like to congratulate the Eels on their great year.

I believe the Eels also took out the Minor Premiership in the Premier League as well.

Yes, congrats Eels . Very well done.

Im just praying my team makes 8th spot ... Gooooo Raiders :)

If ever 8th beats 1st in a semi, and my team is 8th, well let me say im quietly confident. However the big IF is Canberra beating Manly ... it looks like Parra will get an easy run in week 1 instead of a beauty of a match. Oh well.

Parra vs Easts next week would be a cracker imo. But, i reckon sh*t Manly will get there and Parra will power home :(

Winning the Minor premiership means nothing if you dont win the comp.
Everyone remembers the Premiers not who finishes on top of the table and gets $100,000.

I was hoping they would beat the Broncs just so we(sharkies) wouldn't have to play them week 1 of the finals.:S

Firstly thanks everyone. I know the one that everyone remembers is the Grand final Winner. But I think the winners of the minor premiership should be remembered as well.

With regards to our 'most feared' opponents question that our players were all very diplomatic in answering. I think the Roosters would have to be the most feared. They have plenty of finals experience and know how to win in the finals. They are the team with the best chance of altering the trend of 1 V 8 being little more than squash match.
The Roosters are one team who could definately have it withing

Ive said it all year about Parramatta, there a team with alot of trojans with strong starch levels. People should remember the minor premiers, they have battled it out over 26 rounds and been the best team in the competition. Its no mean feat.

Way to return serve to the Broncos after getting smashed 50 points earlier in the year. Beat them in the last regular season game AND snatch the MP from them. Good team the Eels have this season, shame about the CEO.

If the Dragons and the Tigers lose you still will have to!
