Where do we think he will end up next year?
My money is on the Sharks or Bulldogs.

Big call this from Cooper. Let the bidding war and rumour mill begin!!

It's between Eels, Tigers and The Bulldogs. And since Cronk only has maybe 2-3 years left he'll be thinking of going somewhere he can get a premiership in the short term, in that case the Eels will be the best option for him as they have the spare cash for him and a very well coached team.

Wow after all the years we tried to poach him and then we signed up hunt for 6 years then now this happens.. sucks but that's how it is. Would have been amazing to have Widdop / Cronk the Melbourne wining halves

if I was him I would hang up the boots. he will be 34 when next season comes around. And apparently from what I hear he is a great commentator and has fantastic insight into the game. So surely he would be snapped up by one of the networks. Then he goes down as a one club player forever. Those are hard to come by these days.

He will retire and go to media - George Mimis will do a massive deal Fox - he's an amazing analyst. No chance he will play again - no chance!!

The Tigers will chase him hard because signing him will let them sign a bunch of other gun players who want a chance to play withe Cooper Cronk. This is despite the fact that the Tigers need a forward pack.

If I were Tigers I would go hard for Cronk so he can partner Moses. Tedesco/Moses/Cronk in the spine is pretty handy.

Maybe the Dogs but they will have to get rid of wither Reynolds or Mbye.

He is 33 so is a short term buy, would definitely rather Hunt. He is going to be a gun signing for the red V.

You know what though... If he does decide to play on for a year or two, his wife lives in Wollongong... Big Dragons fan as well...

Just putting that one out there.
I dont think that will ever happen....if he had any ideas of moving to us that would of been on the table before we entised Hunt imo....then again you never know these days

If his missus lives in Woolongong, he might sign for the Steelers or Thirroul Butchers. Apparently he always wanted to be coached by a legend in Nathan Fien.lol

It was on the table. The club made a HUGE play for Cronk and Bellamy just a couple of years ago but they us back to stay in Melbourne.

I'd say this decision to come back to Sydney would have happened in the last day or two. It was a very personal decision, highly doubtful that any clubs would have known about it.

It was pretty much 5 years ago that I was waiting in the chook pen , chewing on my nails, for his announcement as to whether or not he would be signing with the Dragons .

Well we all know how that turned out . And now here we are , 5 years down the track , that he has finally decided upon a move to the big smoke . It is enough to give a bloke the royal case of the runs !

He is undoubtedly one of the very best half- backs for many a year , I most sincerely hope that he signs with a club that is struggling , rather than one of those that have a monopoly on the best players , as that would make me even more bilious , if that is possible .

Dez re-signed... Reynolds to 9, and Cooper to 7.
My guess only.
