Before we lost some key forwards and began losing the ruck every week, Sandow was in the top ten for Dally M voting.

Where was he on the Dally M ladder if you take away his 3 points whilst he was playing fullback? We already have a great fullback, we don't need another one and he isn't a half-backs a#$ehole

Why disregard his performance at fullback? The way we play there's not much difference anyway. Last night Sandow had a few touches outside Hayne. It's not hard to switch positions in attack.

And even without those three points he's doing better than most halves in the NRL.

Finally some sense. Sandow is hardly our team's current problem and he was never the reason why we got back to back wooden spoons.

I really don't think Sandow is as bad as people on here are making him out to be.

I'm actually starting to think the game plan that BA wants to run with isn't helping our halves at all. To go to Paulo first then go to a half for mine is too slow and is making our halves rush a lot of the plays they want to do.
Most other teams don't have this 'link' player, becuase quite simply you shouldn't have one. Get the ball to your halves as quickly as possible and let them organise everything.

Don't get me wrong, I think BA is the coach moving forward. But some of the things I have seen with the team lately has me questioning him.

I agree that our outside backs were getting the ball closer and closer to the sideline. It really stood out to me in the Newcastle game. I think BA tried to chage this up this week with more short balls to the decoy/option runner. Earned us a try and a linebreak to Smith of all people.

Not sure if you are being serious.

But a few other things that have stuck out to me so far, just incase you are.

- Paulo has played every game for us this year, I know we have had injuries but surely this sends the wrong message. He doesn't deserve this almost guaranteed selection week in week out. Basically most can see that Paulo isn't offering us anything at all, but he is continually picked.

- Sio is the clubs best winger, yet we have seen him in Wenty for 5-6 games

Both of our halves have good running games. Therefore the Paulo-at-first-receiver thing is intended to get them a bit wider.

No it's not. But I know you are just talking s**t, so can't be bothered explaining myself to you

Just to be clear - I am asking you to justify one of your own statements which I thought was a bit unfair in Arthur.

And guess what? You folded quicker than Superman on laundry day.

The short ball to the decoy/option runner is the entire raison d'etre for the first receiver in those shift plays. That's why you can't stick just anyone at first receiver. The pass to the deep runner is the easy bit, the short ball to the decoy is the difficult bit, and the threat of that pass is what is supposed to keep the outside defenders honest.

Obviously if the pass is never thrown it stops being a threat. With the linebreaks to Moeroa and Smith on the weekend, the Titans will watch the video and hopefully give the backs more space. And if they don't our playmakers will keep hitting the short runner. In theory.

It gives them no time or space though

They got plenty of time and space early in the year when we had more threatening decoys. Teams are ignoring the decoy recently and going straight for Hayne and the halves, which is why the short ball to Ben Smith worked so well.

And as I said if you were being serious I gave you some reasons.

I also said I think BA is the right coach for our team. Maybe I am being harsh on him, he is only in his first year of first grade.
