Norman should be playing the role Seph is. Much more useful there. His defence isn't worse than a lot of halves so that's a rubbish criticism for mine. He's steady enough, but he should be playing the role Seph is for the benefit of the team IMO

I hope Norman comes good. I hear he is on $450K, which is ridiculous overs for a player of his quality. I just can't see it. Reminds me of Adam Dykes with a severe ball rash.

I was watching the game with my younger brother and it looked pretty clear to both of us that he isn't anywhere near full fitness in regards to the shoulder. Simply couldn't get his arm and shoulder into the key zones whenever Leilua ran at him.

I've been thinking Norman is shit for a while. He got a lot of praise tho as he replaced Roberts.

Although one criticism I did have was that I think it was Norman who watched Morgan get carried over the line by a stronger player and didn't even make a move to help him out. Another player or two in that tackle at Mata'utia probably goes into touch, Morgan did ok to shove him a fair way in that direction as it was, just couldn't do it alone. Newie showed the way with Hoppa, Norman and the inside men should have been hungrier.

I don't even think Norman is really playing a role at the moment. He's pretty much role sharing with Seph anyway. In theory he's playing on one side but in practice they shift about. I think, in some ways, we try too much with the ballplayers in the side. Norman in the middle, Hayne and Sandow split, Seph sacked and replaced with a genuine forward. IMO

Norman was shocking today so were all the others. Have been trying to give him the benefit of the doubt for the whole season but gee he doesn't offer much.

Late in the second half and when the game was def gone Norman went to second receiver and switched with Hayne..... Norman was attacking like a fullback, IMO that's his strength right there which is getting the ball on the run. He's had a whole Year to show what he can do at 5/8 and unfortunately he has failed. To slow In passing to the outside backs and stifling the attack with his indecision.
