I agree we have a pretty well balanced squad moving forward and with some of the younger guys developing over the coming years we'll need some cap space to keep them.

That said I think we have some that can be let go without too much disruption - Guerra, Toops and Moa are three that as much as I love em could be sacrificed to keep a younger gun at the club.

its a good position to be in to be able to let go of those 3 and still have an improving squad. Toops is the obvious one we can afford to lose, he just hasn't seemed to progress at all.

Toops has been a shadow of the player he was ever since he signed a two year extension.

Thats just untrue.

He was in pretty poor form last year until he signed it and then he went back to being the beast winger we know he is. He has not been that bad this year he's just been the scapegoat and not to mention the fact that he's missed some games with injury he's probably been carrying one the whole year.

He is much better then Burgess.

You've got to admit his hands have badly let him down this year, rooster

His hands aren't even in the worst in the side, and he is involved in a lot of low percentage plays where a dropped ball is likely. Such as cross field kicks and what not.

I'm not saying he's been great at holding the ball but a bit of perspective is needed.

I reckon he's solid enough, although I always expect him to lose the pill every time he brings the ball back. He is almost impossible to bring to ground which adds to the time exposed in tackles. But, he's no SKD.

I know this is an old thread, but Corey Norman?! No thanks. If we went after anyone at Parra I'd look at Foran. Apparently his contract at Parramatta is only for 2 years with a 2 year option in his favour.AS such Foran, if he wanted, could become a free agent at the end of 2017. Food for thought especially when you consider the end of 2017 is when both Mitchell Pearce and Jackson Hastings come off contract.
