Such an undangerous attacking player. Good long kick...buts that's all - a good long kick is not worth 700k a season.

Offer anthony milford 350-400k. Around a solid halfback like BH he'll get back his dangerous attacking ways.

And if Norman kicked the field goal he's a hero. Big effort from all the men. How's Jaiyden feel he did good played his part.

But he also goes short side when the fg shot is on and then fails to grubber it through the line, like always.
How many times has he kicked it into the opposition when grubbering?
It turned all the momentum, put them on their heels, they spread it and Kerr misses a tackle to create the break.
Game over, Norman sucks.

Hook needs to get real about persisting with Norman. This is supposed to be a rebuild year, a clean up of the McGregor mess. I realise injuries and suspensions have meant we have been stretched but last night just showed that Corey is not even good enough to be in our weakest 17. The fans knew this AGES ago.

Why would such a wise and experienced coach want to sabotage his own team?

That we are chasing Mbye and persisting with Norman is severe indictment on his credentials as a coach.

If we kept people in just because they get a whopping salary, McGregor would still be coach.

It’s just time to start planning for the future, and that future features neither Clune, or Norman. Amone handled the centre position quite well imo. It won’t be long before he gets a run at 5/8.

Clune shows nothing and along with Ellis & Norman shouldn't see NRL again. Geez Sullivan picked a bad time to get injured. Admired the guts and determination of the side but the Bird & Kerr drop balls are becoming a given each game. Blocker ,Posa , Alvaro & Ford played a lot better but Kerr has to go to front row. Perhaps first real criticism of Hook is his obstinance on Norman & Kerr.

As we won't get the spoon but unlikely to make the 8 experiment & blood the young guys ( know its hard with so many out ) If Sullivan still out why not Dufty at 6 & Rav as a backrower ? I know Elliott thinks outside the square but Hook not so much but some of the late changes the past 2 games shows that he is at least listening to him.

I think Norman is a much better player than Clune so I can understand Hooks call. In saying that I don't think Clune is a bad player but not a star player as some have him out to be or has potential to become a rep player. Amone or Sullivan on the other hand might have potential to be stars or rep players, we can only wait and see with a few games under their belts in the halves. In the 1 game I saw Sullivan he looks like he will. Hook should surely give them a crack only thing is if Hunt's preference is Norman then so be it. Hunt is playing well and it could be because he feels comfortable with Norman at 5/8.

No chance Norman gets dropped.
In fact, I will be very surprised if he isn’t extended for next season shortly.
Hook loves coaching him, believes he is doing a great job.
It’ll break the internet when he gets re-signed, Facebook will go into meltdown.
Get ready people!

Norman had one thing to do last night and had ample chances to do it.

In the scheme of the overall season, that loss was huge. It would have been a morale booster for the kids who fought out 80 minutes plus, and 2 points to cement our top 8 spot.

HIS decision to run to the short side and not take the field goal on offer. He failed.

Sullivan is also a reasonable goal kicker. He would probably be cemented by now at least on the bench if he was fit. In saying that I hope he gets his hammy right and doesn’t rush it.

This would be a great time to have Gareth Widdop in our squad to put Norman in reserve grade and out of our misery plus having Widdop kicking conversions and penalties and field goals. We miss him now I would imagine?

I think it's only because of Norman's history with Hunt at the Broncos.
Hunt has picked up his game and I believe Norman is trying but just isn't competitive with most of his opposite numbers.
He gets another chance to shine against the Tigers.
