Here is an idea people can stop being dumb and take precautions. That will flatten the curve more than a complete lockdown especially with goodness knows how many kids running around the streets.

I would have thought using ANZ, BankWest & panthers stadium (3 NRL standard stadiums) A maximum of 30min bus drive between the 2 stadiums that are farthest apart. Abundance of accommodation & local training facilities. Would be a cheaper option RE: transporting all clubs to the hub for the rest of the season (if there are still level 1 precautionary lockdowns for the general public) There are certainly plenty of workable solutions for the comp to kick off once we get the green light.

It’s time for a total national lock down. Close all non essential shops, libraries, public transport, schools etc across the country. This state by state response is ridiculous. Buy the health service as much time as possible to prepare and flatten the curve now, not when we’re losing 500 people a day.

yeah like the NRL want to say goodbye to the 20M a season they get from sky every year.

the Warriors are almost a jewel in the crown for the NRL... a team that directly adds money through what’s really its own broadcast deal... and they add a whole extra time slot for Australian viewers when they play at home.

the AFL would f**king kill for the Warriors.. I don’t even think they have a TV deal... I think they almost pay to be shown in NZ.
