It does make sense in that respect but one would expect that if the flu shot is such a key weapon against the rona then kids would require it for day care and school. That isn't even being considered as far as I'm aware which makes this all seem a bit over the top.

Lots of decisions regarding the ongoing operation of Schools and Childcare don't make sense in this regard though. Someone's made the call they are low risk.

I'd be f**king amazed of childcare workers aren't required to have it though.

no I took the flu shot so no anti Vaxxer , but it’s his choice what he puts in his body . There is no law requiring him to have that flu shot , so hen shouldn’t be forced to take it
Yes it is choice, without players taking the shots there is no agreement with the government to restart the season. I am sure there will be similar things put in place, if there is a covid 19 vaccine, for high risk work places. The NRL is a high risk workplace.

No one is taking away his choice, just because one outcome from your choice is extremely disadvantageous doesn't mean the choice ceases to exist. Plenty of people make difficult choices to follow their beliefs, even when those beliefs are foolish.

lol. There are a lot of crackpot theories out there, not just limited to the French. There's a bloke in the USA coming out with all sorts of crazy stuff.
I tried to inject disinfectant the other day.

Disclaimer do not try to inject disinfectant.

I used to work in the CC Industry and it wasn’t compulsory for a flu shot. It was offered but not compulsory.
On the flip side I’m 99% sure any enrolled children had to be up to date with injections etc. obviously different to a flu shot but still...

Is that still the case though? Things have changed, I'm not sure why people (this isn't referring to you by the way) think that whatever was allowed in 2010 should still be the baseline.

FWIW I was in the industry until late 2018.

What the French have not surrendered?

They surrendered Vietnam to the Japanese, but then wanted it back after WW2, refusing to surrender it to the Vietnamese. That worked out well.

are school teacher required to get flu shots , what if they give it to the kids who then give it to the parents .. stop the teachers from working ... oops the teachers want to get paid and not work
School teachers weren’t required to get it because it wasn’t part of a return to work plan. In fact teachers never had a return to work plan because they never really left.
I’m not sure where your ‘teachers want to get paid but not work’ theory comes from. The current situation is harder for teachers than normal time. Supervising students at school as well as implementing online programs for the students at home. So I think asking to be paid would be fair.

A free choice unless it affects someone else's body. Anti-vaxxers don't know the meaning of being pro-choice

In any case, he does have a choice. It's called a door.

Correct, just because you don't like one of the outcomes of your choice doesn't make the choice disappear.

Not the point I was making.

And what difference does it make anyway? The AFL boys partying in WA made it to video on social media. But it got very little coverage and the police let them off the hook, ironically blaming the media.

Wasn’t disagreeing with your post. My thoughts were that our boys make it easy for the detractors. Didn’t know Crows pics made it to social media, either.
