QLD CHAOS: Maroons star kicked out of Origin, fined after ‘bringing a female into camp’​

Queensland forward Jai Arrow has been sensationally kicked out of the third State of Origin game after breaching Covid protocols by allegedly bringing a female into Maroons camp.

The NRL confirmed on Thursday afternoon Arrow will leave camp immediately and commence 14 days isolation at home.

The Sydney Morning Herald reports Arrow brought a female into the Covid bubble during camp.

The NRL has fined Arrow $35,000 and issued a two-game ban, which will include Origin III and one South Sydney game.

Mate 30 cases per day isn't a constant. Without containment measures it grows to 700 per day very quickly.

I can vouch for this, over 100 days in lockdown in Vic last winter. I wish we locked down sooner to avoid that
