Tigers vs
Penrith - Played 18, won 4, lost 14 - Lost last 5 games.
Parramatta - Played 21, won 6, drew 1, lost 14 - Lost 9 of the last 11.
Melbourne - Played 18, won 6, Lost 12 - Lost 6 of the last 9
Titans - Played 6, won 3, lost 3

Only the titans game we are a 50/50 chance. The other 3 are bogey teams

It's looking like it'll come down, again, to needing to win the last game of the year to qualify for the finals, again.

Everytime that's happened, we lost.

Good chance it'll happen this year, again.

Our record against Penrith is truly f**king abysmal. They will most likely destroy us on Sunday - they will hit it up hard for five tackles and then launch it to the heavens on the sixth considering we couldn't catch a f**king cold to save our lives. Pritchard will play his token fantastic game against us and will no doubt offload a record number of times and their big boppers will more than likely belt us.

God f**king help us if McKinnon is again unavailable this week. But even if he is, Lote and Ryan have been terrible under the high ball of late. Penrith will kick, kick, kick all night. We're f**ked.

I think we are a pretty good chance of beating both Parra and Melbourne. In saying that, I don't think there is a single team in the current top 8 I would think we are capable of beating, so even if we make the finals, I don't think we'll get far.

28 will be enough this year- but I still think we are top 4....I think we will win at least 2 from 4..probably 3/4

We'll be right, Shine's has taken the boys into camp for the week.

And what is the great man going to teach them in a week, how to catch??,how to tackle??how run with some purpose and how to play smart, bit late in the season to think a weeks bonding session will make any diffrence but i suppose he has to try something nothing else isworking

Even if Penrith beat you, which is not as sure a thing as our head to head dominance might suggest, you should still beat Melbourne who have nothing to play for and Parra who will soon have nothing to play for. Don't know about Titans.

Last few times we played games we should have won we ended up being handed a victory against Cronulla when we clearly should have lost.

We also lost a game on the siren in extra time against a Souths second string rabble

Not to mention other close games against understrength Titans, Brisbane and Cowboys sides.

We got bundled out by a team in 2007 that was playing to avoid the spoon when we were up with 10 to go. Benji couldn't or wouldn't tackle on the wing or even put his body on the line and Ben Jeffrey sat idle for 80 minutes riding the pine.

The playing staff may have changed a bit since than but the mental weakness instilled by Sheens never making players accountable for their performance (bar finge players who are made to pay by being dropped after showing aggression, skill and desire)

You would think that would be the likeliest scenario wouldn't you?

As long suffering Tigers fans we know whats coming.

I've done the predictor a few different ways and it seems that if we lose the next 4 games....the warriors vs broncos game will be the deciding game of if we make it or not.. I'm sure there are other possibilities, but the most obvious game is this one... If the broncos win we go through, if the warriors win we go on early holidays....again

OK with the Bunnies and Broncos losing tonight, can we finally finish with these crazy permutations, and just say we're definitely in?

If Manly win against Auckland and the Dragons beat Canberra we can't miss out at all.

We can still finish below both Parra and Canberra if they win all 3 and we lose all 3.

Very very hard now to miss out, but its the Tigers and i have seen it all. So unlike the media refuse to declare its done until it is.

Even when we are 100% certain people here will be crapping on about a salary cap rort or something like that which will cost us our points and see us drop out.

We are home, we will not miss out on the finals in 2010, period. Only question now is where we will finish in the 8.
