Narhh me problem with those wake ups in the wee small hours is that me old brain kicks in and it won't let me return to deep sleep mode.

Usually takes me about 40 minutes to cruise back to the dark side.

I’m exactly the same mate. Either I need a piss or the wife’s snoring and up I get. Can’t go straight back to sleep, 45 minutes to an hour before I start feeling sleepy again. So I look at things on my iPad like this forum or porn and I toddle back into bed again.

I thought I was the only bloke that did this, the missus just doesn’t understand why I wake up in the middle of the night.

Up at 430am every day - maybe Sunday is a sleep in and Saturday 530am. Been the same way since kids came about years ago. Early 50s and I can wake up at 130 and not get back to sleep. Normally about a 230 wake up.
I’m either out at gym, walking or going to the city for work a few days a week.

Cowboys haven't fared any better either week after playing in finals in Townsville.

An open training session is too distracting imo with such a short turn around. They’re probably only having a few training sessions as it is given they flew back Sunday and play Friday

Agreed but a sad state that we need to make an extra effort to drum up support.

- Nicho can't help but front the media about 'blocking out the noise'. Just go out and play!
- The club complaining they can't play a semi at Shark Park. I love the ground, but it's in no state for a week 2 finals game.
- Fitzy responding to a hammering in week one but naming the exact same team.
- The club providing close to zero coverage of the Jersey Flegg and NSW Cup finals runs.

They're defaulting back to the 'meh, we're happy with where we are at' attitude.

This p**ses me off too. We have 2 teams in preliminary finals this Saturday. Those guys are a pool of potential future first graders. We also have the ladies team heading for the semi finals. 4 teams participating in finals is indicative of the club being a pretty successful organisation at present. That's one narrative I'd be pushing if I was in a position to do so.
