I don't even know who Raiders half-back is

they've both left, so now we got Carney or Withers i suppose. Knowing matt elliot though he will have something like.

6. Croker
7. Jason smith.

I'll be completely biased and say that Priddis is better than both of them.

But really, Buderus and Wing are two completely different players. Buderus seems to be someone who has been moulded as a hooker, whilst Wing is a utility who seems to be just at home in the halves than he is at #9. Wing is a great player to have off the bench, and Buderus deserves his spot in the starting side. One of the best hookers the game has ever seen.

But if Buderus ever got injured, I think Priddis would be next in line, and not Wing.

Buderus by Miles. Much more consistant out of Dummy Half, More vision, Buderus consistantly puts players in gaps, Someone already stated "If Wing is so good at Hooker, Why isn't he there for the Goosters?" Wings a good player, but he is not in the same class as Buderus when it comes down to doing the tough stuff round the ruck.
Wing does play hooker for the Roosters moron.

Buderus is a great player.

But i'd never trade him for Priddis.

Saying that, I think we are blessed in the game today to have such remarkable hookers playing.

Luke Priddis, Craig Wing, Danny Buderus, Michael Sullivan, Mark Riddell, all wouldn't look out of place in a NSW or Australian Jersey.

Throw in Berrick Barnes and Michael Ennis next year, when they come on then Australia is in great shape in coming years.

Cameron Smith anyone????

I rate smith only second to Buderus. But because Smith and Buderus are very similar players i doubt he'll get a look in for Australia. Wing offers alot more versatility and has a very different style to buderus.

There are comments made in here that state Buderus is better, mor accomplished, better yaddah...The thing is none of the claimants have explained how. Wing is faster. Wing has a kicking game. Wing is versatile. The only thing Buderus is probably better at is defence. But in every other aspect, Wing kills him. And thats not a biased view...thats fact, something people here havent put put forward in their arguement.

I don't rate Smith that much.

I rate him defensively, but I think there are many hookers ahead of him.

What about Leadership Melon? Can Wing do that?

What about taking a game by the scruff of the neck and pulling everyone of his teammates out of a rut?

What about carrying a second rate team by himself for the whole season. If Buderus wasn't at the Knights they'd be hopeless. If Wing wasn't at the roosters, they'd be the same, because Stuart Webb is on par with Wing.

What I’m saying is that Wing isn’t always considered as starting Hooker at The Roosters, even when fully fit, and at times is used in the same way he is in Rep games, “as an impact player”

Wow big mick, someone else who doesnt see what is so special about Smith. Smith is just your average hooker. I would rather have Mark Riddell in my team.

Not many hookers would make 52 tackles in an origin game or be able to kick 40/20's from dummy half. His attitude is spot on and his fitness and stamina levels are quadruple that of riddells.

Well its what a hooker should have, There required to do alot of defense in todays game. Adam Perry is as big, yet he has very high fitness levels. Riddell just has a poor attitude to training.

Of course Smith is a good defender and can kick, doesnt mean he is great. Have you seen what Riddell does to lift his team? He f**ken takes the line on and, while not the most talented of all, puts everything into every single hit up and is tough as.

Cameron Smith is QLD hooker. Riddell hasn't even gained a rep jersey yet, and for good reason.
