This was missed when Jonny Bairstow was playing his 100th test a few weeks back.

Joe Root made a joke at the end for Jonny to stay in his crease this week.

Brendon Bazball McCullum is seen laughing in the background thinking its all one big joke.

Isn't that the same scumbag coach that had big sook about the bairstow run-out and the spirit of cricket & he wouldn't have beers with the aussies.

Yeah it's one big joke now Brendon you hypocritical leech.

Havent watch a ball of the IPL, just noticed this scorecard from overnight

Sunrisers 3/277 - Travis Head 62 from 24 balls
Mumbai 5/246 - Cummins 2/34 4 overs
523 runs total in 40 overs

Sunrisers hit 18 sixers
Mumbai hit 20 sixers

Regular 300 innings totals not far away

Its just not cricket...

So 6 x white ball internationals vs Pakistan leading up to the marquee test series v india??

That will do me

Hope most of the test players play a Shield game or two instead
No ODIs at the SCG.

What a joke basically left with a Test Match.

I cbf going to a T20I that is over within 3 hours and irrelevant format.

Test hopeful Marcus Harris and white-ball spinner Ashton Agar were among four players who lost their Cricket Australia contracts as boom Queensland fast bowler Xavier Bartlett was added to the 23-player list.

White-ball slugger Matt Short, Western Australia all-rounder Aaron Hardie and Tasmanian quick Nathan Ellis joined Bartlett, who made a stunning ODI debut at the MCG, as new additions to the list.

But Harris, who was overlooked as an opening replacement for David Warner when he retired, has lost his place in the pecking order with Agar and all-rounders Marcus Stoinis and Michael Neser also axed from the central list.

---

CA contracted men’s players 2024-25: Sean Abbott, Xavier Bartlett, Scott Boland, Alex Carey, Pat Cummins, Nathan Ellis, Cameron Green, Aaron Hardie, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Usman Khawaja, Marnus Labuschagne, Nathan Lyon, Mitchell Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, Lance Morris, Todd Murphy, Jhye Richardson, Matt Short, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa
