Anderson is one of the most overrated cricketers of the last 50 years. Yeah he played a lot and could swing a ball when conditions suited. He’s not worthy of doing up Pidge’s shoe laces.


Strike rates are where it’s at as a fast bowler and his is very average for a so called great of the game.

Yeah but Jimmy has a grandstand and a Barmy Army song named after him.

That must make him the greatest of all-time in the eyes of the English.

If there is another Perry for example right now that had to choose between Matildas or Cricket.

I wonder if the decision would stay the same as the Matildas are a huge brand now compared to 15 years ago. Where Cricket had more investment in women's sport then football.

I suppose it also depends on how good you are both sports and what sport you are more chance of succeeding at.
