These two are only ones to have an innings ended in a particular way.

I'd guess then that they're the only two batsmen to be dismissed for handling the ball. But then how could Greenidge be a "partial" member of the club?

A few players have been out handling the ball - Gooch, Steve Waugh and Vaughan among the seven!!!

They both retired out against Bangladesh - Attapattu making 201 and Jayawardene 150.

Ive got a question:

a simple one.

What do the following players have in common:

Mark Waugh
Stuart MacGill
Andy Bichel
Greg Blewett
Peter McIntyre
Justin Langer

They were all over a certain age before they made their test match debut? Or, they're the most profilic 12th men we've seen over the past 10 or so years?

Yes. Greenidge also 'retired' against India in 1983. He left the game overnight because his daughter ws sick, but his innings was deemed to be not out.

Well I couldn't find anything common about where they came from and played at State level, they were all in vastly different eras ... and one of them never even played Test cricket - were they professionally involved in another sport at any one time? Perhaps AFL?
